Congratulations to everyone in all the categories. It was definitely close in some of them.

Oh man, I would love to update my profile! Unfortunately my iPhone 6 won't be with me until early October Image
Also, it was noon where I was when the preorder began (I ordered to ship to a friend in the US), but it was just as nerve-wracking for me. Kept refreshing like crazy Image

I think iTools is giving the system log info but not the actual console log. Does clients accept these?

Thanks,

System logs include application logs too. If you compare system log generated using iTools with that of the console log we get using iPhone configuration utility, you can notice that both are same.
In addition to that crash logs can be obtained separately using iTools.

Good evening Peter! It would be fantastic to be considered for any feature on-site test projects.

Here is the information you requested:
City/State: Seattle, Wa
How many hours per week are you available to work on-site? 20-40 (Or more depending on the project)
Maximum commute time you are willing to make: 1-2 hrs (MAX)
Are you available for week-long engagements? If longer, how many months? Yes for week-long engagements, and yes for longer engagements. The length depends on the project and what it offers in experience gained.
Willing to travel? If so, for how long?: No limit, but would prefer to be home by the weekend.
How much lead time do you need: For shorter projects, 48 hours is preferred. For longer engagements, at least 1 week.
What types of testing activities do you consider to be yourself to be an expert in?: Locating and reporting bugs, manual testing, triaging bug reports and test cases, communicating with customers, taking direction and learning quickly.

Thank you so much for all your hard work! Hope to hear more about on-site work as soon as you know more Image

Test Automation | Re: Selenium for testing flex based application

I'm not aware of any Flex dedicated tool which does not require library to be compiled in.
But there's a Sikuli (http://www.sikulix.com/) tool which is UI test automation tool based on image recognition and OCR. It has it's own scripting engine based on Python, but as every image recognition based tool has it's limitation and is less flexible when you have frequently changing UI.

As I currently have a Flex application under test, I'm reviewing RIATest tool which seems to be the most FLEXible solution as it can recognize custom components (Spark, Parsley). It has an option where remote agent can be loaded from remote loader (it does not require a library to be compiled in but you still need to have an access to server to upload the loader). Some details here: http://www.cogitek.com/riatest/document ... dFlex.html
I will post some thoughts on this tool later this month.

sometime if i removed it then page is still loading and it shows error that element is not loaded(still loading).
Any buddy have different option for that.

Security | Re: Home Depot latest in string of major US security breache

Putting more money into security is of course good, but setting up two factor authentication as well needs to be forced upon all users as a must. The use of two factor authentication for purchases is quite high in the Nordics but I am not sure how common it is in the States. You could actually save a lot of trouble by forcing this upon users.
